Cynthia Zhang

Here, we congratulate Cynthia Zhang on being admitted with outstanding results to the world-class Rhode Island School of Design. Since childhood, Cynthia and her younger brother, Byron Zhang, have studied painting with me, persevering tirelessly for ten years without wavering. Cynthia’s forms are rigorous, and her portrayal of figures is delicate and meticulous. Importantly, while capturing accurate form, she also conveys the psychological characteristics and emotional expressions of her subjects more accurately. Her colors are bright, lively, and deeply moving.
