Antonia Chan

Here, we congratulate Antonia Chan on being admitted to Harvard University with outstanding results. Antonia is diligent and hardworking in her studies and never gives up. Her paintings demonstrate an accurate foundation in form and drawing, while also being full of a romantic expressive quality, making the paintings full of tension and deeply moving. During university breaks, she often came to my school for classes; her ceaseless spirit of inquiry moved me. Antonia’s younger brother, Willy Chan, also studied painting with me and was later admitted to Stanford University.
