第二十四集——油畫長卷《黃河夢》系列創作感想
Episode 24 — Reflections on the Creation of the Oil Painting Scroll “Yellow River Dream” Series
2018年新的一年，1月18日，《黃河夢》系列終於完成，歷時6年之久，這也是用舞蹈形式，用肢體語言表現手法，再現一種生活的真實，用一種新的思維表達，象徵中華民族自強不息的壯烈精神，並傳頌著一個千秋萬代的主題“大愛無疆”。為創作《黃河夢》我先從人體的速寫開始，並竭力從速寫中發現人的肢體語言美。
On January 18, 2018, the “Yellow River Dream” series was finally completed after six years of work. Using the forms of dance and the techniques of body language, this series reproduces the reality of life through a new perspective. It symbolizes the courageous spirit of the Chinese nation’s continuous self-improvement and extols the eternal theme of “Boundless Love.” To create “Yellow River Dream,” I began with life sketches of the human figure, striving to discover the beauty of body language within those sketches.

《黃河夢》分為三個系列，系列一名為《和平家園》(长6.85米, 高1.55米), 系列二為《幸福家園》，系列三為《愛的家園》(长5.86米, 高1.55米)，主題表達為，我們從黃河來，我們為世界和平作出貢獻。
“Yellow River Dream” is divided into three series: Series I, “Peaceful Home” (6.85m x 1.55m); Series II, “Happy Home”; and Series III, “Home of Love” (5.86m x 1.55m). The theme expresses that we come from the Yellow River and we contribute to world peace.
黃河夢也是中華夢，他既代表了一個歷史，也代表了一種文化，中華民族的傳統文化精神有著他自身的博大，包容精神，黃河奔流不息，中華民族生生不息。
The Yellow River Dream is also the Chinese Dream. It represents both a history and a culture. The traditional cultural spirit of the Chinese nation possesses its own vastness and inclusiveness; as the Yellow River flows forever, the Chinese nation thrives endlessly.
“溫故而知新”，創作《黃河夢》的6年時光與中國美國建築總公司也結下了深厚的友誼…（此处省略部分关于中建的获奖描述以保持篇幅）…好消息頻頻傳來，這也是給我一個藝術家帶來了無比的內心強大，我反復思索著是什麼力量讓他們變得如此強大，我想毫無疑問，是黃河精神，是我們的先輩傳下來的厚德載物，自強不息的精神。
“Reviewing the old to know the new”—during the six years of creating “Yellow River Dream,” I forged a deep friendship with China Construction America (CCA)… Frequent good news of their achievements brought me immense inner strength as an artist. I often reflected on what made them so powerful; undoubtedly, it is the spirit of the Yellow River—the legacy of our ancestors characterized by great virtue and tireless self-improvement.

Yellow River Dream — Home of Love / Yellow River Dream — Happy Home
舞蹈是表達肢體語言的最佳方式，我通過很多的舞蹈創作，這也源于我最早求學的地方——新疆藝術學院。有音樂、美術和舞蹈三個大系…看著看著我就明白了，她們怎麼樣表達悲傷，表達歡樂，表達愛情，表達生離死別。
Dance is the best way to express body language. My use of dance in my work stems from my early studies at the Xinjiang Arts Institute… By observing the dancers, I came to understand how they express sadness, joy, love, and the partings of life and death.
在《黃河夢》中出現的形象用他們的肢體語言在表達：1.自信 2.責任 3.勇敢 4.樸實 5.善良 6.堅強 7.包容 8.忍讓 9.喜悅 10.奮鬥。
The figures appearing in “Yellow River Dream” use their body language to express: 1. Confidence, 2. Responsibility, 3. Bravery, 4. Simplicity, 5. Kindness, 6. Strength, 7. Inclusiveness, 8. Forbearance, 9. Joy, 10. Struggle.
黃河後浪推前浪，一代比一代更強。《黃河夢》也獻給我們的下一代，希望他們從繪畫中受到更多的教育和啟迪，並且創作出更好的作品。
As the waves of the Yellow River push those before them, each generation grows stronger than the last. “Yellow River Dream” is also dedicated to the next generation, with the hope that they will find education and inspiration in painting and go on to create even better works.
